Basic information
This project was supported by grant of Technology Agency of the Czech Republic within call 1.VS DOPRAVA 2020+ (STA02019CK010).
Project Goals
The project goal was digitalization, modernization, integration, and improving the effectiveness of civil aviation authority processes with a decrease in administrative burden of the overseen aviation organizations. The goal was achieved by application of the STAMP model (a new safety prediction model developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in cooperation with NASA agency) in selected processes, which were carried out as part of the state safety oversight in aviation. A partial goal was the development of a tool allowing an innovative overview of oversight processes, improvement of their effectiveness, and the setup of functional communication between the civil aviation authority and overseen aviation organizations, which will assist state safety inspectors with carrying out the state safety oversight.

Outputs
Prototype tool to support the application of the STAMP safety model at state safety oversight institutions (CK01000073-V3)
The prototype tool supports the STAMP application by processing safety event, BPMN, and STAMP data using web services and console scripts. It includes a Java-based BPMN to STAMP converter and event data processing with MS Excel. Bonita BPMN diagrams are converted using GNU Bash scripts. Artifacts are deployed to Ontotext GraphDB via SPipes and GNU Bash. It also features utilities for STAMP analysis with documentation links and a dockerized application for viewing the output.
Source code is avalable from github repository. Additional description of the output can be found in czech within document Popis výsledku - STAMP_CAA_SW.pdf.
