Description

As a user, I need to be able to select term definition which often spans a whole paragraph. Currently, the problem is that if I do not hit the selection beginning perfectly, it starts in another element than it ends in. In that case, Annotator will just silently fail to process the selection.

In such cases, an attempt should be made to traverse the elements in a way to be able to create the annotation. A possibility would be to try to navigate to the next sibling (from the selection start) and see if the selection is now valid while retaining the selected content.

If the user does not notice that a definition selection changed the concept might end-up with a different meaning. This is similar to selecting labels (without selection either), but might be more problematic for definitions (longer text=higher chance of going across elements; it might be more tricky to see the changed selection because the selection is longer). I would expect to see some visualization (notification) of the changed selection.
