Miroslav Blaško

Miro Blaško

The leader of the team received his Ph.D. in 2016 in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics after the defense of the dissertation “Template-based Ontology Evolution”. His professional interests also include privacy, design of mind maps and ontologies, Semantic Web, Linked Data, model-based UI generation and reasoning in descriptive logics.

Martin Ledvinka

Martin Ledvinka

Martin received his Ph.D. in the study programme Artificial intelligence and Biocybernetics at FEE CTU in Prague in 2021 by defending his dissertation thesis with the topic of “Leveraging Semantic Web Technologies in Domain-specific Information Systems.” His professional interests include application access to ontologies, design of information systems based on semantic technologies in general and software system testing automation. Besides his research duties, he was or has been involved in teaching of the following subjects: A7B39WPA (Web and enterprise applications) and B6B36EAR (Enterprise architectures) at FEE CTU in Prague and BI-ATS (Software testing automation) at FIT CTU in Prague.

Michal Med

Michal Med

Michal graduated in Geomatics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2014 and received his Ph.D. in the Geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics at the same faculty in 2020. Topic of his thesis is “Implementation of the INSPIRE Directive in the context of Spatial Data Infrastructure development in the Czech Republic”. In 2015 Michal started to participate at the KBSS project “Open Data and semantic approaches to uncover social aspects of urban quality”. Later he became part of the team with focus mainly on the spatial aspects of linked open data, spatial ontologies. His interests lies in opening data of public administration. In the last years he got involved in teaching subject Ontologies and Semantic Web at the FEE.

Jana Ahmad

Jana Ahmad

Jana is a Ph.D student in the study programme Artificial intelligence and Biocybernetics at FEE CTU in Prague in 2021. Her professional interest are conceptual ontological modeling for the development of Inormation system, methods and methodologies of creating ontologies, formal representation of a set of concepts within the domain and relations between concepts, Foundational Ontologies, Semantic and linked data. She got involved in teaching subjects: Ontologies and Semantic Web, Database System and Enterprise architectures at the FEE.

Bogdan Kostov

Bogdan Kostov

Bogdan Kostov is a Ph.D student at FEE CTU. His professional interests are effective querying of semantic knowledge bases in the context of information systems and ontology engineering. He is involved in teaching B0B36DBS (Database systems) and B6B36EAR (Enterprise architectures).

Matěj Kulich

Matěj Kulich

Matěj Kulich received his Bc. degree after the defense of the bachelor thesis “Semantic Web-enabled Web Site” in the study programme Software engineering and technology at FEE CTU in 2021. His professional interests are ontology usage in applications and development of knowledge-based information systems.

Petr Křemen

Petr Křemen

The former leader of the team received Ph.D. in 2012 in the study programme Artificial intelligence and Biocybernetics at FEE CTU by defending thesis “Building Ontology-Based Information Systems”. His professional interests are ontology design, ontology information systems, semantic web, linked data and description logics querying. He is author or co-author of many impacted papers and over forty conference papers. He participated in more then eleven national and international research projects. From 2022 he reduced his work in the team just to teaching and supervising final theses.
