Semantic Web and Enterprise architectures are the main focus of our group. This reflects in the topics KBSS members offer for bachelor and master thesis and our main teaching activities. In addition, we participate in the teaching of Software Architectures and Database Systems.

The course guides students through current trends and technologies in the semantic web field. It takes place in the winter semester.

In this course students become familiar with the general requirements for software architecture and related quality parameters. Takes place in summer semester.

The course is designed as a basic database course mainly aimed at the students’ ability to design a relational data model and to use the SQL language for data definition as well as for data querying and to choose the appropriate degree of transaction isolation. Takes place in summer semester.
